The students will acquire knowledge about business and enterprise development through competitiveness, innovation and quality management. In addition, the students will realize how businesses change over time when exposed to competition.
The class will focus on how businesses can improve national and international competitiveness through innovation, technological, product, quality and market development. The main tools are Christiansen and Porter’s theories.
Lectures and case studies
Portfolio assessment. The students will write two papers in groups. The papers will be presented verbally by the group and they will defend their paper. The papers counts for 70% of the total grade, the presentations counts for 20%, opposing counts for 10%
