The students should get an introduction to the theory and practice related to carnivore ecology and management

Main emphasis on brown bear, wolverine, wolf and lynx. Conservation biology, and management of large carnivores, laws and conflicts with man.

Taught in English. Lectures, seminars and field courses

Oral exam. Grading according to ECTS-system on scale A – E for passed, and F for failed.
